When I started writing Feel, I didn’t expect it to become the big fat monster that it has! Haha, it turned into something far longer and bigger than I had planned it would (3 arcs wtf). But it’s been fun writing the first one! To be honest, it was
supposed to be a parody and I guess in its own way it still is, but my horrid OCD for a plot screwed me over. Basically, I wanted to say thank you to all those who read it.
I wanted to show you all my entirely screwed up process of plotting as well, which you’ll see below my rambling. Enjoy my notes and just notice the detailed notes start over halfway through the story. You can imagine the notes I’ve made for the next part Redefine! Don’t worry, it’s going to be posted asap! I tried to keep a ten page standard for each part, but it went to hell with some parts, and I don’t know what the paging will be like in the next part. I just dislike it when people post parts and they’re like 3 pages long D: Frustrating! I wanted my fic to have weight XD I just hope its quality over quantity XD;;
Also, I’m sure you noticed the song titles and songs linked. I did that because music really influences my writing and the S.Meyer playlist amused me. I hope some of you enjoyed it and the randomness of the music chosen.
I wanted to say some things about how I planned out the story to flow as a real timeline, through months while Jae and the others are in school, but that seems sort of stupid now XD Randomly, while I was in the middle of writing this, before it got posted, I read the books
Graceling and
Eon: Dragoneye Reborn. I was amused by the first where two characters had the kind of relationship where one could read the other’s mind/intentions and the other couldn’t, but they communicated with it well. And in the second, when one character used a particular power, his eyes glowed silver. I was amused because I came up with the ideas before reading the books and thought it was funny that the two characteristics in my story were in each of those XD It made me wonder if anyone would read those two books and pick up on it.
Note about Yunho’s lineage: so I suspended my belief and decided Yunho’s grandfather somehow met a Korean woman and married her. Then Yunho’s father met Jae’s father when he went to school in California and met Yunho’s mother who was full Korean and decided to take her last name *shrugs* I dunno, seemed fun 8D Made Yunho’s looks and name more plausible, but whatever XD
So, here’s where I ask you guys for an opinion. When I started writing, like I said, it was supposed to be a parody. So I left the bit about the boys being sparkly in. To be honest, I was thinking about changing it, because it seems rather ridiculous and I’d rather it be something else ^^; So what do you all think? Should the sparkles stay in, or should I rewrite it with the idea I had (and am not telling :x)? EDIT 6/11: The sparkles are now gone. Please reread the fic (or at least part 7 which has that specific discussion) to see what it has changed to ^^v
Arc 2, Redefine, will tell what happens next. Basically, if you’ve read the rest of the S.Meyer books, it kind of takes parts of the rest of them and smushes them together. Random parts to be honest, because my plot ended up being so very different. Arc 3, Gravity, will tell Changmin’s story, which is just off on its own. It’s depressing, but it will tell how he and Junsu met and why they’re so devoted to each other. I haven’t decided if I’ll tell Junsu’s backstory interspersed in that or not, so keep an eye out! ^_^
I was gonna write some stuff about censorship, but decided against it. I wanna keep this lighthearted and fun ^^
Again, thanks all for reading! I know it’s just a fanfic, but it was a lot of fun and I hope it made some of you smile ^_^
( Enjoy my notes! )
