Since I love reading fanfics, I figured I should rec some. Thing is, I didn't start saving fics in my memories til recently, so what I rec will probably all be TVXQ related ^^;;

This is for my reference as well as letting people know what I thought was well written, and hoping to let the authors know their writing and story was enjoyed ^_^v

pairing: Yunho/Jaejoong + tons of random characters
type: unfinished, multi-chapter AU
why: Despite being unfinished, this fic was pretty damn amazing. I do hope she ends up finishing it because while the plot was ridiculous, she pulled it off so well and made the characters believable. I really enjoyed reading this fic a LOT. Mostly I just loved Jaejoong carrying around a gun and being all >[ faced XD But don't we all? 8D

why: oh god, I could go on about how much I love the awkward interactions in this fic, but I adore the way Yoochun is completely bowled over by Jaejoong at the beginning and thinks he's going to die from it XD Just, GAH, I love this fic XD And Jae's hair tied up is a plus XD

why: oh man, the way Changmin practically trips over himself because of Jaejoong is hilarious. I love their interactions and the way Jaejoong flirts.

type: multi-part - she has them all linked together, so just click the link to the next chapter when you finish one - status is ongoing ^^v
why: oh god, how can I express my fangirly glee at seeing someone portray Jaejoong as a porn star like they should have long ago. I absolutely love the characterization in this fic and especially the way Jaejoong acts toward Changmin and calls him kid (and uses ♥s in his texts XD). If you haven't read this one, YOU MUST! :D It's well written and it will make you laugh at points just from Changmin's pov ^_^

Dune by butterflyweb & nemesis_cry
pairing: Yoochun/Yunho
type: multi-part - part 1/2 | part 3/4 | part 5/6 | part 7/8
why: I had commented to kenaressa on the pairing Yunho/Yoochun and she said she couldn't wrap her head around it at all. I lamented to vanilla_klise that I hardly ever saw the pairing and hadn't seen it lately (since jaeho seems to rule all 9.9) and she recommended this fic. I was surprised by how I found myself liking the plot and the way the two interacted in the fic. And omg, THEY ACT LIKE MEN. Shock and awe XD The plot is a mix between Dune and My Enemy Mine (is how she described it after she finally got me to watch Dune). It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found it well written and plotted out.

why: I usually hate mpreg and genderbending, and stay away from them like the plague. shinigamitabris linked this to me and I loved reading it. The art that went with it was great too. I really liked Jae's thoughts concerning Yoochun and uh... yeah I won't spoil it XD;

why: seems more like a good morning than goodnight, but who am I to complain? :3

why: it was just very sweet ^_^

why: because I liked the vignettes sprinkled throughout the whole thing. very sweet.

why: "Rough sex in the kitchen." nuff said.

type: one-shot...ish (has a very short part that happens before it, but it's linked on that page ^^v)
why: liked the way the unexpected pairing of 2u comes out in this. I like how they interacted and got together. Dance club + alcohol are a plus XD;

why: I think this was the first Homin I read and it got me on a kick of reading that pairing for like, a week XD I liked the way they played off one another and their interactions as well as the dialogue.

why: ah clutziness, they has it :3

A Black Tie Affair by kallistei
pairing: Yoochun/Changmin
type: one-shot
why: boys in a limo. what more could you ask for?


Art:

corkart : love the way she captures their facial structures and expressions :3

jumotic : does mostly Yunho/Jaejoong stuff, but she does pretty well with body structure for the most part and their faces ^^

city_of_gods : her art is more her own style than the actual way the boys look, but it's really well done and I love the way the images are manipulated with color and design




Gundam Wing

Asylum by Spooks (scroll down to the fic title to read ^^)
type: multi-part - includes prologue, 13 parts and epilogue
why: When this fic was posted, I thought it was absolutely amazing. The imagination that went into this fic was astounding to me and a lot of other people who read it at the time. I think it was posted in 2000 on the y!group I was on. To be honest, I saved every part to my hard drive as it was written and I probably STILL have it, just hidden away on the old hard drive that I don't use much anymore. I haven't read it since I got out of the GW fandom, but I still love this fic to bits.



My favorite Final Fantasy VIII fics are all up on Noire Sensus, so I'll have to go through there again and find the ones I really liked ^_^
